October 12, 2024: Concert-Film Day with First Flights Awards and Music Program

Festival Saturday will be a fusion of history and modernity. At 4:00 PM, there will be a film walk The Big Screens Through Time, where visitors will explore the history of cinemas in Gorizia and discover the city's exciting history through the lens of film culture.

In the evening, at 6:00 PM, the Gorizia Cultural Center will screen Cinema Volta by director Martin Turk, followed by a discussion with the author.

The festival will conclude in the twin city of Gorizia at Mostovna with the event Celebration of Infinite Visions. The first part, dedicated to new media arts, will feature a performance at 7:30 PM. At 8:00 PM, the First Crossings section awards will be presented in the TIR gallery, followed by a musical paradise with two concerts – Sulla Lingua at 9:00 PM and a dance party with the band Masaž at 10:00 PM. The evening program will be held in collaboration with the international conference Avant-garde and the End of the World.

At 7:00 PM, the Cankarjev Dom in Ljubljana will screen Nicolas Philibert’s On the Adamant in collaboration with the Liffe festival, introduced by Matjaž Lunaček and Patricija Maličev.
