Call for volunteers: Kinoatelje invites lovers of the seventh art to join them!

Kinoatelje is inviting new members to join the festival team of this year's Tribute to a Vision cross-border film festival, which will take place between October 8 and 13 2024.

We invite you to join us as a volunteer in co-creating this unique festival, which offers a variety of events on both sides of the Slovenian-Italian border; our outposts are located in Nova Gorica and Gorizia, Ljubljana, Izola, Trieste, Špeter and Udine. During the festival, we will involve volunteers in the Gorizian part of the festival in October.

 

What do we expect from our volunteers?

• To take on various roles during the festival: Depending on your interests, we will find a role that suits you best

• Good communication skills: Ability to communicate with guests, filmmakers and the media

• Responsibility and reliability: Willingness for taking on various tasks and consistent fulfillment of agreed obligations

• Flexibility and adaptability: Willingness to work in a dynamic festival environment where quick adjustments are sometimes required

 

How can you help us?

• Helping with festival screenings and accompanying events

• Creating content for social networks (Facebook, Instagram)

• Promotion and distribution of festival materials

• Assistance to guests and filmmakers

• Helping with the First Crossings platform

• Documenting the festival events (video and photo)

• Translation (Slovenian, Italian, English)

• Helping with venue preparation and logistics

The condition for registration is being at least 18 years old and presence during the entire festival.
