Dansez şi eu la nunta părinţilor mei / Dancing at My Parents’ Wedding

Synopsis

To understand the past of her family, a young filmmaker analyses the videotape of her parents' wedding which took place 25 years ago. The VHS take her onto unbeaten paths in which she rediscovers her family by bringing buried memories to light.

Author's bio

Andreea Chiper studies documentary filmmaking at the UNATC (National film and theatre university “I. L. Caragiale” – Bucharest) and occasionally works as a film critic. She is deputy editor of the film magazine Film Menu and coordinator of the magazine affiliated film club. She was part of the One World Romania International Documentary and Human Rights Film Festival team for several years. She increasingly believes that documentaries will save the world one day. Dansez şi eu la nunta părinţilor mei (Dancing at my parents’ wedding) is her first film.
